Open Call: Her Voice / Our World

Throughout history, women have shaped families, communities, culture, and art. Their stories contain strength, tenderness, resilience, creativity, and transformation. At the same time, the experience of womanhood continues to evolve in response to social change, cultural expectations, and ongoing conversations about equality and rights.

This exhibition invites artists to reflect on the presence and role of women in our world.

About the Open Call

The theme may be explored through many perspectives:

  • personal memories and family stories

  • motherhood, care, and relationships

  • identity, body, and self-expression

  • historical struggles and achievements

  • quiet strength and everyday resilience

  • women’s influence on culture, society, and art

  • the relationship between men and women

  • visions of the future and equality

We encourage artists to approach the topic thoughtfully and personally. Works may celebrate, question, document, or reinterpret the experiences of women in contemporary or historical contexts.

Artists of all genders and backgrounds are welcome to participate. The exhibition aims to create a space for dialogue, reflection, and artistic exploration, where different voices and perspectives come together.

Selected artworks will be presented in the Omi Art Gallery virtual exhibition space and shared with our international audience.

Artists are encouraged to include a short description explaining the story or idea behind their work.
